Our Building

Our building is one of the most accessible buildings in Liverpool city centre. We have two entrances to our building. The main entrance, on Bridport Street, is at street level where the main door is weighted to stay open for longer and is wider to allow wheelchair access. The Reception area is located on the second floor, visible upon entering the building and has 4 stairs leading up to it.

However, there is a ramp located on your immediate left, which leads to the lift. The second entrance is located to the right of the main entrance, just a few metres away and allows immediate access to the reception area and lift.

Our lift, which can hold up to 13 persons, is located on the 2nd floor opposite the Reception desk and serves all floors. Wherever stairs are present in the building wheelchair lifts can be found next to them.

All of our facilities are fully accessible. We have accessible toilets on every floor, all of our doors are wide and weighted to ensure easy access to a room and our light switches are positioned at wheelchair height.

Parking is limited to pay and display areas opposite the building with no designated parking bays for blue badge holders. However, Lime Street Car Park is located on Lord Nelson Street, approximately 200 yards away from the main entrance, and prices range from between £1.50 – £6.00. As they only have 6 designated disabled bays you are able to book a car park space by calling them on 0845 050 7080 to enquire.

Lime Street Car Park has easy street access. The short walk to our building is on a slight incline until you cross over onto Hotham Street.
