Services

At MPAC, we are able to offer a wide range of services from training and internet services right the way through to funding guidance and equipment. Our extensive list of services means we really are a one-stop shop in helping to support you in every one of your community activities.

Below is a list of our services and their details:

  • Arts in Play:

Our art projects are run by professional artists, who work closely with the children and young people to help them to develop their skills, ability, confidence and imagination. The Arts in Play programmes are both innovative and creative and the work produced is to a very high standard.

The artwork produced by the children and young people is displayed in exhibitions held in major venues as a way to increase their confidence, furthering their development.

  • Arts & Craft Shop:

Our arts & craft shop has a wide range of materials suitable for your play community activities, school or after-school club. Discounts are available.

  • Funding:

We provide an outreach service for funding and grants whereby our fully trained members of staff can support, guide and advise you from your first ideas and support you during the completion of your first application form.

  • Internet:

We have a computer available in our Reception area, providing internet access for the general public and our members. Internet access is available to our members to do their research and reports on.

  • Play Equipment:

Here at MPAC, we have a variety of play equipment suitable for all types of community activities. Members are able to access all play equipment for their play groups.

  • Training:

To ensure our children are safe as they play and that they are given opportunities about the different play groups available to them we offer a variety of training sessions such as Arts and Crafts training as well as specialised training courses for Play Workers. We also offer training to comply with current safety legislation in Child Protection.

  • Scrap Store:

We collect clean, non-toxic materials for re-cycling to community groups for their play or art projects.

We are currently looking at developing a variety of projects with our members including the following:

- Educational Mentoring Projects

- Recycling and Re-use Educational Projects

- Senior Member training for young people (16+)

- Sports-based activities
